Hello, I just got my 2DS and capture card today. When I plug it in to use it, it just tells me NO VALID DATA, and sometimes I get a picture of my screen that is staticy and blurred and frozen. I can send a screen cap if you'd like me to. I am running ver701, I cannot find the link to the other versions to try it out on.
Thanks for your assistance.

Hello,

"No Valid Data" is most likely appeared when the PC and/or physical connection has an issue such as; insufficient PC spec, failure of the installation of the driver, connection issue between the capture kit and the PC, a wrong model for the viewer software/driver, etc.

Please unplug all other USB devices from your computer. Please connect directly to the PC without connecting through a USB hub or other device.

To capture a game on a PC, requires a lot of data transfer. So please use the USB only for the capture device. If the PC spec is insufficient, this will also happen.

We recommend a PC supporting a i7 dual-core processor with 16 or 32GB memory on Windows and above in order to run the viewer properly. As for Mac, a PC needs a i7 with 16G or above in order to run the viewer software properly. Especially, the audio capture requires a lot of data transfer. If you wish to capture both the video and the audio, please prepare a high spec PC.

If "No valid data" is displayed but game capture still works, most likely either the PC or the connection between the console and the PC is overloaded. Please change the "Transfer Mode" to "Middle" or "Light," and see if the problem is resolved.

Please also check the following if you have not tried yet:
- Unplug the USB cable on both ends then plug both ends back in fully to make sure they are seated all the way.
- Test the USB port on the PC by plugging in a different device, such as a smartphone, and making sure it functions correctly.
- Test the USB cable by swapping out a different one (if you have one)
- Try unplugging all other USB devices from your computer and connect directly to the PC without connecting through a USB hub or other device. This reduces the number of possible causes for the problem.
- Please shut down unused/unnecessary software on the PC, and use only the viewer software when you capture a game to the PC.
- Please make sure only one copy of the viewer software is running. If multiple copies of the viewer software run at the same time, it will not work properly. If you aren't sure, reboot your computer.
- Please run Windows Update manually and make sure to apply all the latest patches.

If the problem persists, please send a message including your inquiry to [email protected]

Thank you,
